Accountant — Al-Ahsa

A prominent company in the solar energy sector in Saudi Arabia is in need of an accountant with at least 5 years of experience to manage financial operations and participate in the company's accounting activities. Work locations available: Al-Ahsa and Al-Jouf.

Key Responsibilities:

Recording daily accounting entries, reviewing them, and preparing bank reconciliations and monthly and annual closings.

Preparing periodic financial statements and reports according to the standards adopted in the kingdom.

Accounting for projects: monitoring the costs of solar energy projects, and comparing actual expenses with the budget.

Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the electronic invoicing system of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Managing accounts of suppliers and employees, and monitoring collections and payments.

Working on ERP systems and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Coordinating with external auditors and preparing audit requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Practical experience of at least 5 years in accounting.

Experience in VAT and Zakat in the kingdom.

Experience in project accounting or contracting.

Proficiency in working with ERP systems and Excel.

Work Type: Full-time at the company's headquarters.

Monthly Salary: Between 6,000 to 9,000 SAR based on experience and competence.
