A B S METALS CUTTING LLC is a leader/top-tier metal processing and service centre, specializing in laser cutting, v-grooving, bending, perforation, brushing, router grooving, and bead blasting.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our dynamic and innovative technical design team.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD

Read, interpret, and review blueprints, technical drawings and client specifications.

Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes, improvements and production requirements.

Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready.

Prepare and maintain organized drawing documentation and file systems.

Ensure all designs comply with technical standards, tolerances, and available production capabilities.

Skills

Required Qualifications:

2–3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Designer in metal fabrication, manufacturing or engineering

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D

Knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D software is an advantage

Solid understanding of sheet metal materials, cutting tolerances, and fabrication processes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and convert them into production-ready files

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

Experience preparing files for CNC laser cutting, vgrooving, bending, perforation and etc.

Knowledge of nesting software and cutting optimization tools

Familiarity with TRUMPF or DURMA machinery
