QA/QC Mechanical Engineer — Jeddah

Technical support and direction for all quality activities (including reporting) performed by contractors Inspectors of the project

Ensure Quality Management activities and reports are in compliance with Quality requirements as per engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule “Q” of the project’s Construction Contractors’ contract.

Provide training and guidance to others as and when required.

Support all aspects of Quality Management, including Inspection.

Technical support to Purchasing and Project Management in resolving problems concerning inspection methods and procedures for completing WORK within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards.

developments in inspection standards, codes, practices, procedures, methods, and inspection equipment.

Compliance of applicable codes and standards and in accordance with the WER quality and inspection requirements.

Review/evaluate quality assurance/quality control systems, as necessary, and ensure Inspection Records are compiled and maintained.

Performing root cause analysis, assessments, and recommend short and/or long-term remedies.

knowledge of applicable US Codes, construction and maintenance procedures, and material testing and procedures.

knowledge of quality system standards and methods (ISO 9001).
