Mechanical Hydrotest Engineer - Piping/ Pipeline — Al Ahsa

Develop and execute comprehensive hydrotesting procedures for piping and pipeline systems ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards Oversee the preparation of systems for hydrotesting including cleaning isolation and installation of temporary equipment like blinds and test gauges Manage the pressurization and depressurization phases of hydrotests meticulously monitoring pressure and temperature to prevent system damage Conduct thorough leak detection and integrity checks during testing accurately identifying and documenting any anomalies Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.Minimum of 7years of progressive experience specifically in hydrotesting of piping and pipeline systems within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or construction sectors.Possession of relevant certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or API certifications (e.g., API is highly advantageous.Proven expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and relevant international codes (e.g., ASME B3, B4, B.
