Accountant / Procurement Officer — Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Procurement Officer with strong knowledge of UAE accounting, taxation, procurement, and import/export procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, supplier/customer accounts, payments, and reconciliations.

Handle UAE VAT and tax filing requirements and maintain proper tax records.

Manage purchasing and procurement activities from quotation to delivery.

Source suppliers and negotiate best prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions .

Manage Purchase Orders, supplier invoices, and procurement records.

Coordinate import/export shipments, customs clearance, BOE, customs duties, freight, and related documentation .

Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and logistics companies.

Maintain accurate accounting and procurement records in Odoo/ Frappe ERP .

Skills

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant UAE experience in Accounting and/or Procurement.

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax filing .

Good practical experience with Odoo/Frappe ERP / Accounting system .

Strong supplier negotiation and procurement skills .

Good knowledge of UAE import/export and customs procedures , including BOE, customs duty, clearance, and shipping documentation.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel .

Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
