Accountant — Riyadh

The Accountant role at our real estate development organization in Riyadh offers an opportunity to support financial operations, ensure accurate accounting records, and maintain compliance with financial policies and regulations. The role focuses on financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting the organization's financial stability and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within real estate development, construction, or related industries, with knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS, and applicable regulations.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.

Maintain organized financial documentation and records.

Skills

2–4 years of experience in accounting.

Experience in real estate, construction, or related industries is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of IFRS and Saudi ZATCA requirements.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
