Compliance Manager — Riyadh

Build the compliance function from the ground up: compliance policy, internal controls and procedures ensuring adherence to the debt-based crowdfunding rules and all SAMA regulations and circulars.

Draft board-approved organisational policies and review other departments' policies from a compliance perspective; manage annual review cycles and evidence approval in board minutes.

Own the AML/CTF programme: participant and beneficiary enterprise due diligence, sanctions and watchlist screening, alert review and disposition, and suspicious transaction reporting.

Own the regulator relationship: respond to SAMA requests, enquiries and observations within deadlines, submit periodic reporting, and prepare and track non-objection requests.

Lead supervisory and on-site inspection readiness; organise compliance evidence and drive remediation plans to documented closure.

Monitor adherence to operating limits: beneficiary financing caps, participant limits, and collection account segregation.

Review platform disclosures against internal records; monitor the default definition, default ratio, and default notification timelines.

Manage conflicts of interest: related-party register, periodic declarations, and pre-publication screening controls.

Manage complaints handling and consumer protection: procedures, register, and turnaround deadlines.

Provide written compliance opinions on new products, services and processes before launch.

Maintain compliance records for no less than ten years with reliable retrieval.

Report periodically to the Board and its committees; build staff compliance awareness and training.

Support completion of the SAMA licensing requirements.
