Senior Electrical Engineer — Khobar

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical engineering activities across projects. The role involves design review, site execution, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project requirements, safety standards, and timelines.

Lead and manage day-to-day electrical engineering activities on projects

Coordinate with Project Manager, clients, and internal teams to achieve project objectives

Review and prepare design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications

Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements

Prepare and manage material requisitions and manpower plans

Develop method statements and ensure safe execution of works

Raise and follow up on inspection requests (RFI) and ensure successful approvals

Monitor progress through 2-week look-ahead plans and ensure timely execution

Troubleshoot electrical systems and support testing and commissioning activities

Supervise technicians and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors

Participate in meetings to report progress, resolve issues, and coordinate activities

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering projects

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and testing

Experience in design review, shop drawings, and site execution

Familiarity with engineering software and design tools

Good understanding of safety standards and quality requirements

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred

Arabic speaking is an advantage

Experience in project-based or construction environments

Strong coordination and stakeholder management experience
